Terms and Conditions

Effective 6 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-06.1

1. Who we are

FEMTO is operated by SL Global Oy, a Finnish limited company, Business ID 2761344-8, VAT ID FI27613448. Our registered address is Sompasaarenlaituri 16 lh., 00540 Helsinki, Finland. Contact us at [email protected] or +358 50 367 8388.

2. Our website and services

femto.store provides information about our services. ECU service orders are handled through orders.femtoevo.com and paid by bank transfer against an invoice. Digital activation purchases are handled through portal.femtoevo.com, where card payments are processed by Stripe. No payment is collected on this public website.

3. Compatibility and your information

Provide accurate vehicle, VIN, ECU, software and shipping information. Confirm that the requested service is suitable for your equipment before sending a unit. Order services only for equipment you own or are authorised to have serviced. Product-specific requirements form part of your order information.

4. Orders and confirmation

Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote does not authorise work or create an obligation to pay. We review the requested service and provide an itemised quote or invoice. The service scope, total price, tax, shipping arrangements and completion time are agreed before a binding order is confirmed. The order confirmation records the applicable terms; keep it for your records.

5. Prices, VAT and payment

The advertised ECU service charge is EUR 250 excluding VAT, effective 13 July 2026. Where Finnish VAT at 25.5% applies, the service price is EUR 313.75 including VAT. Shipping is additional. Applicable VAT depends on the customer and transaction; any reverse-charge or other treatment applies only where its legal conditions are met. The itemised quote shows the applicable tax, shipping charges and total before you confirm. Follow the bank details and payment reference on your invoice. Previously confirmed orders retain their agreed prices.

6. Shipping and performance

For physical ECU services, arrange and pay for inbound DHL Express delivery to the office address provided with your order. Do not send a unit to a pickup point. We arrange return DHL Express shipping unless a customer-supplied DHL Express return label has been agreed. The invoice identifies the return-shipment charge. Completion time is confirmed for the order and is separate from carrier transit time. Contact us if the agreed completion time is missed.

7. Cancellation and consumer rights

Our Refunds and cancellation policy explains how to cancel, withdraw or report a problem. Consumers keep all mandatory rights under applicable law. Starting work or delivering a code does not, by itself, remove those rights. Any request for early performance and any acknowledgement of loss of a withdrawal right must be obtained in the applicable order flow.

8. If a service or code does not work

Contact us promptly with the order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate and provide the remedies required by applicable law, which may include correction, price reduction or refund. We may request relevant ECU, software or diagnostic information. A compatibility error, later software update or misuse is assessed according to the facts and applicable law; this clause does not exclude statutory consumer rights.

9. Safe and lawful use

Vehicle software changes can affect compatibility, manufacturer warranty treatment and subsequent servicing. Follow the instructions for the selected service. You must not use our services to breach applicable safety, vehicle, intellectual-property or export rules. The Product Disclaimer gives further information.

10. Liability

We remain responsible for obligations and liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. We do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Responsibility for other losses is determined under the applicable contract and law; a shipping or product disclaimer does not override mandatory rights.

11. Restrictions and interruptions

We may decline an order where compatibility cannot be established, performance is unlawful, payment cannot be accepted or applicable restrictions prevent the transaction. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will notify you and arrange the remedy required by law, including a refund for services not provided where appropriate.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Consumers retain protections that cannot be waived under the law applicable in their country of residence. Please contact us first about a dispute. Consumers may seek assistance from Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and, where eligible, the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or their European Consumer Centre. Nothing here restricts a consumer’s right to bring a claim before a court having jurisdiction.

13. Changes

The terms applicable to an order are the version supplied when that order is confirmed. Updated website terms apply to future orders and do not retrospectively change an existing agreement.
